Thors comment:
"This pot is made in my "Gotham" design, which I came up with after a visit to New York in 2017, but executed in a very primitive, rock-like version. The pot is made in the Swedish "Fyle" clay. A local clay from southern Sweden whose source is now unfortunately empty and is no longer on the market. My stock of Fyle is dying and I'm sparing as much as I can of it as I love its natural shade."

"As I will now have two exhibitions in Tokyo in November, this means that I have to talk about my art and in some way define who I am and what I do for the japanese public. Then the question arises, "What am I bringing to the bonsai world?" In the preparations for this, it came naturally that I summed up and crystallized some of the designs that that has been borned along my journey. My Trademark designs. The Skull, Borg, Gotham, Skull corner, Nidhögg, Yggdrasil, Sigill and Kings corner among others. They are all still evolving and are all unique, built from slabs and coils."
