Thors comment:
"This is the only pot in this edition I wouldn't call a "trademark design", but maybe an upcoming one? It's a version of my skull that I thought of as a sea monster, or rather the "Midgårdsormen" (the Midgard Serpent), which according to Norse mythology rests in the depths of the sea. Hence the blue glaze and the hint of a nose."

"As I will now have two exhibitions in Tokyo in November, this means that I have to talk about my art and in some way define who I am and what I do for the japanese public. Then the question arises, "What am I bringing to the bonsai world?" In the preparations for this, it came naturally that I summed up and crystallized some of the designs that that has been borned along my journey. My Trademark designs. The Skull, Borg, Gotham, Skull corner, Nidhögg, Yggdrasil, Sigill and Kings corner among others. They are all still evolving and are all unique, built from slabs and coils."
